I saw this at Radwood. Kinda cool. I’d own it (without the world’s worst air filter on top)
Putting the feelers out there: Porsche 911 project being built as an open-class track + street monster. 72 coupe tub, full cage properly tied into strut towers, custom coilover suspension, rebuilt 930 trans, gigantic 996 Turbo brakes, overbuilt cooling system, custom 17x10" and 17x13" wheels and huge fenders to run massive tires. 400hp SBC V8 currently, but being built to standard to eventually be a balanced 600hp car. Professional/shop-built; not a shade-tree project. Clean title, registered in CA. Smog-exempt.
Open to serious, realistic, and well-considered offers. Also open to select trades, up or down. (Looking for something a little more tame but still fun: C7/C6Z06, supercharged Lotus, M Coupe, maybe a 911 still in 2+2 configuration — that sort of thing. Email me with what you’ve got!)

When you got a porsche but you wanted more snap oversteer and had a V8 lying around.

Snap oversteer is a myth

Yeah but there are very few carbed LS options

Some of all aluminum LS motors are actually lighter than original flat six iron block motors. Renegade Hybrids have been doing this conversion for a couple of decades now, seems to have a good handle on these conversions.

that's what I was getting at...damn Mondays.

But this isn’t an LS, it’s an iron block small block.

And the Porsche engine isn’t iron-block. It’s alloy and air cooled so pretty light even as alloy engines go.
~160kg vs ~200kg for the lightest LS. LS are mega light...for the displacement they offer.
